Nils Baratella studied Philosophy, History and Modern German Literature. He received his doctorate at the Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg. Since 2013, he has been a research associate at the Institute of Philosophy at the University of Oldenburg. His main research interests are history of philosophy, social philosophy, political philosophy, philosophical and historical anthropology, and German Idealism.
