Nora Schmidt studied Literature, Western Slavic Studies and Philosophy in Erfurt, Prague and Leipzig. She is completing her doctorate on Contemporary Czech Literature at the University of Erfurt with a thesis on texts by Michal Ajvaz, Jaroslav Rudiš and Miloš Urban.
