Petra Hörner studied German Philology and Theology. Master's degree and doctorate at the University of Heidelberg. Habilitation at Leipzig University. She is the author of the much-cited standard work on the development of the Gospel harmonies since the Tatian and editor of the harmonistic works of Othmar Nachtgall and Erasmus Alber.
