Ralf Hennig studied Architecture at the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt and Media and Architecture at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. He is a research assistant and lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt and at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, where he also undertakes his dissertation.
