Reinhard Frötschner, M.A., is a staff member of the Leibniz Institute for Research on Eastern and Southeastern Europe in Regensburg (History Department) with a research focus on the "History of the Moscow Empire under Tsar Ivan IV" and "Sigismund von Herberstein". He has been teaching on the history of the Rus at LMU Munich for years and has published repeatedly on the above-mentioned topics in German and Russian.
