Robert Skoczek is a linguist, phonetician and sworn interpreter. He studied Linguistic German Philology at the Universities of Lublin (Poland) and Rostock and received his Ph.D. in Lublin. After his habilitation at the Department of Speech Science and Phonetics at Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg, he has been working there as a Privatdozent and Vertretungsprofessor since 2019. His teaching and research interests lie in the fields of speech and linguistics as well as German as a foreign language.
