Ronny Raith studied Law and Catholic Canon Law and worked afterwards as a research assistant at the Chair of Canon Law at the University of Passau from 2002 to 2006. In 2006, he was appointed as a Rechtsrat i. K. at the Diocese of Passau. In addition to teaching canon law at the University of Passau, the author is also a visiting professor at the Institute of Canon Law at the University of Potsdam.
