Sabine Müller is a professor of Ancient History at the University of Marburg (Germany). After studying Medieval and Modern History, Art History and Ancient History, she taught in Kiel, among other places. Her research interests include ancient Persia, Herodotus, Macedonia under the Temenids, the Hellenistic empires, Lucian, the Arsacid Empire and Rome, as well as the reception of antiquity in art and film.
