Stefan Sienerth, Prof. h.c. Dr. Dr. h.c., was a university lecturer and research associate in Romania and Germany, most recently at the Institute for German Culture and History of Southeastern Europe (IKGS) at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, which he directed from 2005 to 2013. He is the author of books, studies, and essays on the history of Southeast German regional literatures, as well as editor or co-editor of anthologies - also on the topic of Securitate -, of anthologies, and of author editions.
