Susanne Römer, Dr. phil., is a lecturer in the field of special education at Zentrum für Lehrer:innenbildung und Schulforschung at Leipzig University. There, she is also Senatsbeauftragte (Senate Officer) for students with disabilities and chronic illnesses. She held a long-standing substitute professorship for Special Education / Inclusion Studies at HSZG (University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Görlitz) and also worked as project leader of the Certificate Course for Inclusive Instruction and School Development (ZINT) for teachers in Saxony as well as a teacher of the hearing impaired and a primary school teacher.
