Sven Grawunder, Dr. phil., is a professor for Speech Science and Phonetics at Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg (Germany). He has conducted ethnomusicological, phonetic and linguistic field work in language documentation projects in Siberia, India and Africa.
