Thanh-Thuy Hoang studied Law in Hanoi and Regensburg, specializing in Vietnamese business and international trade law. Since 1995, she has worked as a research assistant and lecturer at the National University of Economics in Hanoi. She received her doctorate from the University of Potsdam in 2007.
