Thorsten Schulte

Thorsten Schulte grew up in Bonn and Bad Wildungen. He studied German Philology, Political Science and Media Studies in Marburg, where he also wrote for a daily newspaper. He has published over 160 book reviews so far and has served as a personal advisor to the Hessian governors Roland Koch and Volker Bouffier. From 2014 to 2024, he headed corporate communications, strategic projects and the executive office of Hessen Agentur. He is currently head of the department of "Culture and Identity" at the Hessian State Chancellery.
