Ulrike Martens completed her doctorate at the Department of Humanities and Educational Sciences at the Technical University in Berlin after studying Educational Sciences and Sociology. She has been working in child and youth welfare since 2002. She is interested in family, childhood and youth research as well as social pedagogy and intercultural pedagogy.
