Waltraud Liekefett was a pedagogical advisor in the Braunschweig regional association of the Evangelical Women's Aid until her retirement in 2005. For many years she was also a member of the editorial board of ahzw. She fills her professional retirement with great voluntary commitment, especially in the Ecumenical Forum of Christian Women in Europe (ÖFCFE).
