Wieland Kranich, trained singer, studied psychology and speech science/phonetics, worked as a speech, language and voice therapist and, after receiving his doctorate (Jena), worked as a teaching logopedist and speech educator at the speech therapy schools in Trier and Regensburg. Since 2009 it leads the teaching area oral communication at the University of Regensburg. With the present thesis he has habilitated at the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg.
