Wolfgang Wippermann is a professor of Modern History at Freie Universität Berlin and was for many years a lecturer at the Pedagogical-Theological Institute of the Protestant Church in Berlin. He is the author of numerous studies on the history of anti-Semitism and antiziganism as well as fascism and totalitarianism.
