Alejandro González Villar studied Translation and Interpreting at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona and at the University of Potsdam studied Foreign Language Linguistics. He received his Ph.D. in 2014 as part of a co-tutelle program (Potsdam and Barcelona). He has taught Spanish as a Foreign Language, Linguistics and Translation in Potsdam, Heidelberg and Barcelona. He also works as a translator and proofreader.
