Alexander Holste (ORCID 0000-0001-5908-1587) is professor of Specialized Communication Studies at TH Köln. Venia Legendi „Angewandte Linguistik“ (Applied Linguistics) at Hildesheim University in 2023, Dr. phil. in 2019. Before, he studied in Essen and Turin (Italy). His research interests lie in the fields of professional communication and knowledge transfer, but especially in technical multimodality, the interaction between man and machine on a LSP level as well as multilingualism in professional settings. He worked in the technical editing department of a public transport company. For his practical experience projects he collaborates with companies and the administration.
