Alice Leal is a senior lecturer in Portuguese and Translation Studies at the University of Vienna, where she coordinates the Department of Portuguese. She has a B.A. in English and Portuguese, as well as an M.A. and Ph.D. in translation studies. Her main research area is translation and poststructuralist thought. Her publications include contributions in Target, Translation Spaces and The Handbook of Translation Studies.
