Anke Grutschus studied French Philology and School Music in Cologne. She received her doctorate in French Linguistics. After teaching as a DAAD lectorer at Sorbonne nouvelle University, she is currently working as a research assistant at the Romance Department of the University of Cologne. Her teaching and research activities focus on semantics, language history and discourse analysis.
