Ann-Kathrin Miriam Kobelt has studied German (linguistics and cultural studies), Musicology, Art History and English/American Studies. Afterwards, she worked as a teacher in integration courses, as a German language examiner for immigrants and as a lecturer in the field of German as a foreign and second language. Her research, interests and work focus include attitudes towards language(s) and multilingualism, research-based learning and teaching as well as speaking about languages and language mediation in the context of DaF (German as a foreign language) and DaZ (German as second language).
