Céline Powell studied Italian Philology, Art History and Translation Studies at the universities of Clermont-Ferrand, Udine and Macerata. In 2025, she obtained her Ph.D. from LMU Munich, where she works as a research fellow at the chair of Italian Philology. Her research interests focus on the history and practice of translation in the early modern period, with particular attention to female figures as well as on the role of translation in 18th-century Italian culture and literature.
