Evelyn Kiok holds a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology / European Ethnology and German Philology from the University of Göttingen and a Master's degree in Sign Languages from Universität Hamburg. She has contributed to the DGS corpus project of the Academy of Sciences in Hamburg and works in the fields of subtitling for deaf and hard of hearing people (SDH) and audio description.
