Heidrun Witte, Dr. phil., Dipl.-Übers., teaches Common and Technical Language Translation (German/Spanish) at the Facultad de Traducción e Interpretación of the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC, Spain). She conducts research on the theory and didactics of translational cultural competence and the relevance of intercultural self-perception and perception of others in the translational framework.
