Igor Panasiuk, PD Dr. habil., is a linguist, cultural scientist and translator. He studied Interpreting and Translation at the National V.-N. Karasin University in Kharkiv (Ukraine) and cultural studies at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt/Oder. He received his doctorate there in 2005 and habilitated on theoretical and applied aspects of translation studies in 2015.
