ngrid Schellbach-Kopra has worked at the universities of Jyväskylä, Tampere, Helsinki, Budapest, Göttingen and Munich after studying Finnougristics, Nordic Studies, Ethnology and Folklore. Her preferred fields of work and publication are subject-related folkloristics and lexicography. She is, among other things, a member of the board of the German Library, Helsinki, a member of the advisory board of the Finnish Institute, Berlin, and a member of the board of trustees of the German-Finnish Society.
