Jie Li received her Ph.D. from the Institute of Applied Linguistics and Translation Studies at Leipzig University after studying German at Northeastern University in Shenyang (China) and Shanghai International Studies University. Her research interests include cognitive translatology, psycholinguistics, and comparative linguistics and literature. She teaches Chinese at Heidelberg University.
