Joanna Wels studied German Philology in Poland, specialising in German as a Foreign Language. She has worked in this subject for several years as a freelance lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Zwickau (WHZ). Since 2023 she is a sworn translator and official interpreter for Polish and German. Her research interest focusses on the evaluation of machine-made translations.
