Josef Löffl studied history, classical archaeology and classical philology in Regensburg. He was a doctoral scholar of the Bavarian Elite Network as well as a research award winner of the University of Bavaria. A former research associate at the Chair of Ancient History at the University of Regensburg, he leads experimental archaeological projects.
