Lena Skalweit, Dr. phil., is a graduate interpreter and a member of staff at the Interpreting Studies Department of the Faculty of Translation Studies, Linguistics, and Cultural Studies at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz in Germersheim. Since 2009, she has also worked as a freelance conference interpreter (French, German, English). Her research interests include the history of interpreting, court interpreting, and interpreting didactics.
