Marie Vachenauer has lived in Upper Bavaria since 1967. In 1992 she came across the "Causa Simon Abeles" by chance, on which she researched in Czech archives for more than 15 years. During the source analysis, her bilingualism (German and Czech) as well as her medical and psychological knowledge (healer since 1981) were of great benefit.
