Martin K. W. Schweer holds the Chair of Educational Psychology at the University of Vechta and is head of the Center for Trust Research (ZfV) there. He has been dealing with the trust phenomenon in his scientific work for many years and is one of the leading social science trust researchers in the German-speaking area.
