Olena Pchelintseva, Prof. Dr., is a head of the Department of Ukrainian Language and General Linguistics at the Cherkasy State Technological University and a recent visiting researcher at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. She is an expert in functional grammar, Slavic aspectology, comparative study of Slavic languages, and bilingualism.
