Richard Pleijel holds a PhD in Hebrew Bible Exegesis from the University of Uppsala (Sweden). He is currently a Research Fellow at the Institute for Interpreting and Translation Studies, Stockholm University (Sweden). He is also a translation consultant with the Swedish Bible Society.
