Rolf Fieguth, taught Slavic Studies at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) until 2007. He has published on Franciszek Dionizy Kniaźnin, Adam Mickiewicz, Cyprian Norwid, and Czesław Miłosz, among others, and translated works by Joseph Brodsky, Cyprian Norwid, and Witold Gombrowicz.
