Sandra Reitbrecht studied German and French for the teaching profession as well as German as a foreign/second language at the University of Vienna. She later taught at universities in France and the Czech Republic, and received her Ph.D. in 2016 from the Seminar for Speech Science and Phonetics at Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg. She works at the Didactics Center for Text and Information Literacy (DiZeTIK) at the University of Teacher Education Vienna.
