Şebnem Bahadır studied Translation Studies and Anglistics at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul as well as Speech Studies, Cultural Sociology and German Philology at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. In her seminars she applies and develops her training method which focusses on the body. Her work as a teacher and an interpreter is closely related to her research.
