Sigrid Freunek graduated from the Institute for Translation and Interpreting at the University of Heidelberg in 1998. From 2001 to 2004 she was a guest lecturer at the Linguistic University of Nižnij Novgorod (Russia). Currently she works as a research assistant at the University of Heidelberg.
