Valentyna Ostapenko, Diplom-Translatorin (HU Berlin), studied Interpreting and Translation in Odessa, Paris and Berlin. She currently works as a translator of specialized texts with legal and technical content. In her scientific work she deals in particular with translation-relevant technical language and culture-specific aspects.
