Antonina Roitburd grew up bilingually (Romanian and Russian) in Lăpuşna (Republic of Moldova). Interculturality and multilingualism have been part of her everyday life from an early age. During her studies, including a master's degree in Literature and Culture in Europe at the Osnabrück University, she expanded her language repertoire to include French, German, Italian and English. Numerous stays abroad have strengthened her sense for intercultural exchange processes, cultural and literary transfer.
