Changgun Kim studied German and Romance Philology (B.A.) and Consecutive Interpreting and Translation (M.A. Korean/German) at the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul (South Korea). He received his doctorate from the Faculty of Translation Studies, Linguistics and Cultural Studies at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz in Germersheim. He works as a technical translator in the field of localization and has been teaching DaF and technical translation at his home university since 2017.
