Stefanie Kremmel received her doctorate in Transcultural Communication at the Center for Translation Studies at the University of Vienna. She worked there for several years as a research assistant and is the co-founder and co-editor of Chronotopos, a journal on translation history. For the project Exil:Trans she primarily studied translators of non-literary, i.e. scientific, pragmatic and political texts.
